We're staying at the Mar Menor resort for a long weekend, first time here. Looking for a dinner close by so chose Fontana, and although we hadn't booked they found a nice table quickly for us. There was a (loud but cheerful) party in the main area, but they just added to the atmosphere. Service was good, not fast, but for two of us was just right. Bread basket, as most do here, and drinks were followed by a good steak & (very authentic) pizza. The two staff who served us were both friendly and pleasant. All up a nice evening with a walk back to the apartment.

Somewhat confusing as the menu you are given when seated does not resemble the on line menu and it implies that it is a Spanish restaurant. However, on the two occasions we visited during our 10 day holiday we found the staff to be pleasant and the food to be very acceptable.

Clean and tidy food was nice but disappointing presentation with no sides as standard ie veg, maybe it's the English in me expecting too much, but I expected more for the price.
